THE MAKINGS OF AWESOME!!

FIRST: RAID TIME EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT

6-6:3-7-7:15 - What do these numbers mean? 

6-6:30ST is when you should be popping open your favorite beverage and logging on Friday night to BE AWESOME.  There will be pre-raid RP in The Golden Keg if you like! Alternatively, log on and do a daily or something! Just be online! TIME FOR FUN.

6:30-7ST is when we'll be grouping up and heading out.  Be there early to assure the most time possible for BEING AWESOME.

7ST - THIS IS THE TIME TO BE AWESOME.

If life is making you late, you have until 7:15ST to be logging on your raiding character.  After 7:15 a substitute will be found for your spot for the rest of the evening.  For the sake of the whole group, if at all possible, please be on time - or early!  WE WANT YOU. BADLY.

SECOND: PREPAREDNESS

FOOD - Check the bank.  There are stacks of various goodies with various buffs being cooked up all the time.

FLASKS - Make sure you have them!  The bank is still working on getting them made.  There are a lot of elixirs in the bank though so please use them!

HEALTH POTS AND BANDAGES - There are some bandages in the bank, and frankly I haven't even *seen* a Cata health pot yet, but get what you can.

GEAR - Please be prepared, repaired, and not wearing your fishing/chef's hat (that only applies to me.)  See below for more about gear.

If you have the time, look over the forum post about the basic raid fights.  There's more info on other sites that I'll try to get posted as we get closer to raids.

THIRD: NOT-FRIDAYS

We're looking for ways to get more involved on nights other than Fridays.  There's a forum thread going about finding a good time to run heroics weekly.  Let's do more things together.  Please check the forum and post about what times would be good for you to run a heroic or two.  Not only would it be a chance for more fun together, but it's also good XP for the guild, more points for gear and gear upgrades, more crafting mats, more experience, more practice, MORE AWESOME.

FOURTH: CRAFTERS AND CRAFTEES

A thread is going to be popping up momentarily about who can craft what and asking for requests for crafted items.  Crafting is one of the best ways we can help each other out.  Outside of ELIXIRS and FOODS there are also GEMS and ENCHANTS in the bank.  There's also some pretty BLUE ITEMS, LEG ARMORS and SPELLTHREAD.  If you need something that isn't there, please request it! 

If you can gather, help gather for our crafters.  If you have extra money, materials, or chaos orbs, lets get some epics made. Please see the thread for more info and to make requests.

This expansion is the first one GS has been together as a guild.  We've done awesome before, but with the tools and perks we have now, we can even do MORE AWESOME, especially if we put them to use.  Please keep an eye on the website, the calendar, and the guild MOTD and info boxes in-game.  Please post as early as possible if you're going to be missing or late for a raid.  Be vocal about what you need, what you could use, and how the rest of GS can help you.
